Venice - Magical Floating City

There is something extremely romantic and charming about Venice. Venice is truly a magical floating city. The floating city consists of 117 group of small islands separated by canals and connected by bridges. Strolling down alleyways, eating authentic Italian gelato and foods, window shopping for exclusive Italian Big Brands of sunglasses, Italian leather hand bags, clothes, shoes; there are so many things to do in Venice. Whether it's Basilica Di San Marco or Doge's Palace in the heart of Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge or Ponte Dei Sospiri, there are so much history all around on the magical land of Venice.
What to See:
Ponte Di Rilato : Rialto Bridge was built in just 3 years, between 1588 and 1591 and is the true heart of Venice. It has quickly become  extremely popular tourist  destination. It has three walkways that lead between two rows of shops.
Ponte Dei Sospiri: Also known as Ponte dei Sospiri in Italian, this is one of the most famous bridges in Italy. It was originally connected to the prison so prisoners had to cross the bridge, causing them to *sigh* as they entered jail. Hence the name!
Piazza San marco: Often known as St. Mark’s Square, this is considered one of the finest squares in the world and is definitely Venice’s prime tourist attraction. Here you’ll find the Basilica Di San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Campanile (the bell tower), Doge's Palace, restaurants, shops, and museums.
The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark, commonly known as Saint Mark's Basilica, is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Venice, northern Italy. It is the most famous of the city's churches and one of the best known examples of Italo-Byzantine architecture.
The Doge's Palace is a palace built in Venetian Gothic style, and one of the main landmarks of the city of Venice in northern Italy. The palace was the residence of the Doge of Venice, the supreme authority of the former Venetian Republic, opening as a museum in 1923.
Day trip can be taken from Venice to discover the lace-making and glass blowing traditions of Murano and Burano Islands.
Getting around in Venice:
Most common way of getting around in Venice is by walking. Small alleyways and staircases are all around there. Water bus is another suitable option. If you are reaching Venice by train, just get out from the station and you will get water bus to reach your desired destination. You can purchase pass for bus for the entire stay at Venice. Gondola ride is a must do in Venice. It costs 80 Euro for 30 minute ride and the rate is fixed. However it's bit costly but exploring Venice will remain incomplete without the romantic Gondola Ride.
Stay in Venice:
There are so many luxary hotels in Venice. Try not to stay in mainland where the station located, as it might take upto an hour by water bus to get to the main square of Venice. It is advisable to book your stay at Piazza San Marco Island or better known as St. Mark's Square which is the tourist heart of Venice.
Airbnb apartments are feasible option to stay in Venice or in any European city if you are travelling with family or group as it is cheaper than hotels. We took Airbnb apartment near to St. Mark's Square in very reasonable price. The apartment is very well decorated, clean, arranged with all the amenities and also the host is very cooperative.
Reaching Venice:
One of the easiest way to get around Italy and rest of Europe is to travel by train. You can easily reach Venice by train from any major cities of Italy.
Some Tips:
